Friday 7th June 2013 was a very special day for me when I was presented with the 2013 Surrey Neighbourhood Watch Association Award. This was a proud moment always to be remembered especially a I was in Zanzibar for 33 days on a special mission and made it home just in time to accept this special award which I will always treasure.
As your Neighbourhood Co-ordinator, I will continue to give 100% support to all our Neighbours and Members, as I feel so proud that our Surrey Police NHW Team fully support us in every way in making our Towns and Country a Safer Place to live in.
I wish to thank Surrey Neighbourhood Watch Association for nominating me for this 2013 great award.

Police Neighbourhood Watch Award. Now that you have received this prestigious
award do you have to keep awake all night watching people's property ? If that
is the case I would tell them you can have your award back I am not going to
loose my sleep matey!

Welcome
back to the UK! I hope you had a good & profitable time ... and I look
forward to hearing all about it.
We
have been really busy over the past few weeks, though I have done some
preparation for the NHW web site and some of the code to join the systems up.
I’m planning a couple of days off to concentrate on it too.
I
will need to be back by 8pm on Tuesday but am free any time after about 6.30pm
for a catch up if that’s any good for you and Graham.

Heartiest congratulations from Pervin and self on you being awarded the NHW Surrey Police Award. You could well be the first Zanzibari to achieve such award. I could just as well say this calls for a celebration but then why should I when there is such a vast distance between me and the glass. And while we are at it how about giving you something you’ve never had in your life, a nickname. How does” Koplo “ sound. Koplo is a tenderfoot cop. And since when do nick-names need the consent of the namee?
Great to know that you will be making the next trip with Betty and will most likely be getting over the jetlag in Arusha. You know from experience it’s a nice way of arriving Zanzibar fresh.
